There’s been a lot of speculation about where WYSTC will be taking place next year and we’re delighted to confirm that WYSTC 2010 will be in Beijing, China. The first time our youth and student travel community met in Beijing was in 1988, and its great to be coming back next year.
Susan Goldstein, WYSTC Managing Director says “We know it’s a truly dynamic market full of exciting opportunities for our members and delegates. China and Asia are key sending and receiving market for language travel, study abroad, cultural exchange and learning. We’ve been excited to see the largest attendance of Chinese delegates ever at this year’s conference in Manchester and we can only imagination how good it’s going to be in Beijing next year!”
The 2009 report ‘Higher Education on the Move: New Developments in Social mobility’ predicts that eight key countries will host 72% of the world’s international students, these being: the USA, UK, France, Australia, China, Canada and Japan.
